This week Emma Walsh, CEO of Parents At Work, was joined by The Gidget Foundation midwives and emotional wellbeing educators Carol Himmelhoch and Emma Lane for a very supportive webinar all about looking after your mental health during that delicate time of pre and post natal child rearing.

The Gidget Foundation is a not for profit organisation which provides support services for families suffering emotional distress during pregnancy and early parenting. They also provide education and awareness programs for health professionals and the community to learn more about Perinatal Anxiety and depression.

Some of the key things covered in the 1-hour free webinar were:

  • Personal sharing and experiences
  • When do I need help?
  • Where do I get help from?
  • Practical ideas on how to maintain good emotional health

Parents At Work offer a number of programs and free community webinars – our ‘Special Events’ – to working parents to support them in the myriad of challenges and issues they face as their children (and careers) grow through the years. If you would like to know more about our membership or programs please contact info@parentsatwork.com.au.

To get a free copy of the webinar audio recording or send it to a friend please email bookings@parentsatwork.com.au
